Telephone System Issue - RESOLVED - Thursday 4th October, 2018

Our issues with our telephone system now appear to be largely resolved, and you can now phone into the surgery as normal.  We apologise for any inconvenience, or delay in getting through, you may have had during this time.

Please be advised that following consultation with our local Health Board, and with their permission,

OUR PRACTICE LIST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO NEW PATIENTS, on a temporary basis, taking effect from 13th September, 2018.  This is due to workforce issues. Existing New Patient Appointments will still be seen, and the Practice will continue to register new-born babies of existing members of the practice.

Your nearest surgeries to seek registration can be found here:

Kensington Group Practice Autumn 2018 Newsletter

Please note from Monday 6th August 2018 we are going to trial a lunchtime closure between 1pm and 1.45pm.  This is a very quiet time for us but we are hoping to see if a short closure at this time helps us improve service at our busier times of the day.

If there is an urgent matter that cannot wait until after lunch, the lunchtime emergency mobile number is 07340 175761.  Please only use this number if your need is genuinely urgent and not for routine queries.  This number does not accept voicemails or texts; please do not try to send a text, as your message cannot be read.

Please click on the below link for further information, as it will help explain why we believe this may help improve service delivery.  As always we welcome your feedback.  Thank you in advance for your support.

Trial lunchtime closure

The GP Out Of Hours Service provides care for people in Belfast when their normal GP surgery is closed. It is not intended to replace normal GP services, but deals with urgent problems that cannot wait until your own GP is available. You should therefore only use this service if you are suddenly ill and you cannot wait until your GP’s surgery is open.
